:)  I came a cross those strange new famiclones that uses USB connector instead of DB9 or DB15 pin classic ones.

I assume that they just use the USB physical connector to do the job of the standard ones (the controllers uses only 5 wires, so it is possible). :gamer:  Any one have the pin-out for this and pictures? I want to make a tiny case for this famiclone and use USB plugs instead of DB9 ones :

The standard famicom controller uses 5 pins and needs 5 wires, but I'm not sure about clones.

A standard USB cable has 4 wires, unless you use the cable shielding as one (you could use it as ground because it's connected to the metal housing), or buy a USB port wire with 6 wires in it. That said, you can wire it however you want, there's no particular pinout you would have to follow unless you want to mirror how the clone you linked is wired.

yea exactly I was thinking of the same think to use shield for the ground wire . I can not find pictures of those clones to see how they did it  :upsetroll:  I aways can make my own pin-out arrangement for those USB plugs and put the same on any famiclone controller I have, but want to be compatible with those "USB" controllers that came with those clones if I even came across any at all :)

I managed to get NOAC with USB ports so I hope that it have some kind of famiclone "new" standard for those USB plugs ,that correspond with the old DB9/DB15 standard :-[
