Doc

Yeah, only I would have my made a staff member post before even my welcome post. :D

What a blast from the past! That link is an interesting look at the past of Famicom World. This was back when guys like Kefka, S.S. Nintendo, The_Wizard, and Roth used to visit.

1900th post yay! ;D
I like numbers between 1900 and 2010 because of the years they represent :)

son_ov_hades

1900 was an interesting year, Australia was founded, the first auto show was held, and Japan and European powers occupied Bejing.

1901: The electric vacuum cleaner was invented.

manuel

The numbers before 1900 also represent years... no?  :o

If you're like my computer's BIOS, then the world started in 1900 and will end in 2079 :P.

Now seriously, IMO most people can relate better to stuff that happened after 1900 (with some exceptions during the 1400-1500s). i.e. if I say '1942', you will think more about the year 1942 than if I say, for example, 1315 or 974 (those are perceived more like numerical magnitudes).

That's it the end of the world is in 2080! Man I hope I'm dead by then and I send all my games to outer space.
