My Twin Famicom broke, and I haven't been able to find a replacement yet.

I am looking for the green model, one that works really well, hopefully with a new belt, and looks nice.  Please let me know what you are looking for (money or trade).

I do have an extra turbo grafx (US) and games if you are interested.

Thanks!

What made it break?  There could be a way for you to fix it.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

I plugged the twin into the step-up side of my converter, rather than step down.  Now the system will turn on once, but then if you turn it off, it will not turn on again.  It will only turn on again if unplugged and left alone for a little bit.  I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, but it is true.

My disk games are still alright, because they load first time.  However, carts sometimes take more than one try to get to work, and this then turns into a VERY long process.  Every time the system is turned off, you have to unplug and wait a few minutes.

I have a working Turbo Grafx (US) with a few games Splatter House, Cadash (kinda rare), and 2-3 other duplicates I would trade straight up (equal value IMO).  Or else I would do cash if the price was right.  I could even throw in my broken twin if someone wants to play with it to get it to work.  I also have a lot of famicom games and pirates, I would be willing to part with some.  I have a lot of other games from all USA systems all eras, if you want something let me know, I might have it.

I have over 100 games for my famicom, and it is killing me not to play them.  I have the normal system, but it is hard to play with it being so blurry and not hooked up with A/V cables.

133Mhz may be able to help you.... he's good at fixing/diagnosing things  ;D
Now you're playing with Power

He did give some advice, but unfortuantely what sounds easy for him, is not so easy for the average man.  That guy is a tech wiz!  I don't know a wrench from pliers, so any fixing won't be done by me!

Have you considered taking it to a electronics repair shop or posting for someone on Craigslist to fix it? It shouldn't cost much to repair it.

TheClash603

Maybe I will...  there is a guy at the flea market by me that said he "might" be able to fix it.

My fear is that instead of having a system that works poorly (mostly good for FDS), I will have a system completely not working.

Anyway, anyone have a green Twin for sale or trade?
