Hey Everyone,

In an effort to get more rarities in the hands of others, I've got some Chinese originals for the Famicom for sale. Back in the day, these items were "rainy day" doubles/trades that were squirreled away in case the need should arise. Naturally, they are out of print now and the few titles that do get leaked out of China are incomplete or used. They all come complete, and to the best of my knowledge, have full hardware battery backup support! Anyway, without further ado, here are the games:

Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children (Full Case -  SOLD OUT - pending payment)

Tomb Raider - SOLD OUT - Pending payment)

Grandia (SOLD OUT - Pending payment and Shipping information.)

CAUTION: All stock was purchased directly from the store(s) as new. However, we are talking China (Black market) new. That means each unit was probably assembled by hand and imperfections or defects on the case, cartridge, and product should be expected. Also note that Chinese sellers tend to talk out of their ass. That means, what they bill as "new", could very well be display models, test units, or whatnot (in the rare case a save game already exists). Unfortunately, due to the nature of these items sometimes it can't be helped.

So with that caution aside, although all items were purchased from a store, I will bill these as USED to be safe. They have only been played once by myself to verify they boot/work and that's it. Otherwise, they have been sitting in a box since the day they were purchased. Also, because of the long shelf life of some of these purchases, I cannot guarantee the battery backup still holds charge. I'm told they are socket type so a replace is easy to do.

Asking: $39 per unit (Covers the cost, i.e. pain in the ass, to get these out of China, initial cost of the product at time of purchase, as well as a small amount of money for my cousin who I convinced to start releasing his extras). I expect shipping will be roughly $10 or so depending on your location, but I'll have a more precise number once I know where to ship to. Payment can be made by PayPal. Unfortunately, due to the nature of these items they are all sold as-is. In addition, to be fair to all Assembler and Famicom World users, I cannot mix and match products for quality. All items will be distributed randomly as originally packed.

BONUS: I have approximately 5 extra units of Biohazard/Resident Evil arriving shortly for the Famicom. Any users who purchase games from me (in the order I receive them) will have first crack at Biohazard once they are avaliable for sale. Just mention you want one and I will hold it for you.

Thanks everyone!

PS: I appologize for the long post. I just wanted to be as complete as possible. (^_^).

EDIT: As posted at www.assemblergames.com

Hey Everyone,

Just in case anyone is wondering, I registered on Famicom World just to let people know I have items of interest for sale. I spend most of my time on www.assemblergames.com, which is mostly about all things rare and obscure (not just famicom), but since there are more places that could benefit from the proliferation of these items, I figure I'd register. If anyone has doubts about me, you can look me up at Assembler. Actually, I recently wrote a review on Pirate Gameboy Clones from China there (http://www.assemblergames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23624).

In any event, I included my name within the photos (Good practice with rare stuff) to show that I indeed have the items on hand, and no photos were stolen. I should also be receiving more items in the future from my Cousin (in China) who is selling off doubles/extras from his personal collection.

Anyway, I apologize if my "1 post" looks a bit strange. I hope this explanation puts more peoples minds at ease.

Thanks!

Hey Everyone,

Sorry, all titles have instantly sold out and are awaiting payment. If you did not receive a reply to your PM yet, then you are on a waiting list for the item. If any buyers do not follow up with payment I will release quantity's back for sale.

Thanks,

Trenton_net

UPDATE: Since it is ridiculously expensive and troublesome to ship items out of China, I am trying to decided which parts of my cousin's collection are interesting to people and which are not. The following items could be available for sale if my cousin has doubles or extras:

Dragon Quest 6
Dragon Quest 7
Chrono Trigger
Digimon
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Crystal
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Gold
... etc.

If any of these items are interesting to people, please let me know and I'll see what can be pulled out. In addition, I know some interest is present for Fantasy Star items. I will see if I can do anything about that.

Thanks,

Ryo

I'm interesting

Dragon Quest 6
Dragon Quest 7
Chrono Trigger

Is it Famicom?

I would probably be interested in pokemon games too :P
are there any other Resident Evils?

Pokemon games do sound cool.  Are they HKO/sprite hack sidescrollers, or are they Chinese RPGs?

Nintendodork --> The Pokemon games are not hacks. They are all Chinese originals programmed from the ground up for the Famicom with Chinese language. Many such professional (Chinese Original) attempts try  to copy graphics, game play, engine, and style of the original games. Here is a screenshot for reference:

As you can see, black/gray market companies try hard to make it look and run like a real game (to varying degrees of success)!. The reason a lot of these don't make it out of China is because companies don't like to export them. Basically, like L___E___T said, U.S companies like to order a few samples, then try to sue them out of business. In addition, the Chinese government needs to look like they are fighting piracy, so the government themselves also tries to prevent export. It's ironic that internal sales are fine, but anything for export gets seriously looked at.

L___E___T --> Unfortunately, all remaining items have been sold. If my cousin finds any leftover FF7 or Tomb Raider games, I will let everyone know. In addition, if current buyers fail to make payment within a reasonable amount of time, I will release their stock for sale to other members in the order I receive requests.

Graphics aren't bad!

And hey! I can understand what mom's saying on the screen!  ;D

Yeah, that one looks really nice compared to the ones I've seen.  It's also the first one I've seen with the 3rd gen protagonist as the main character sprite
