Same here -- Atari. Used to spend hours playing Donkey Kong, I think. Man was I little back then!

TheSSNintendo

The Atari, but I can't remember which model.

Doc

I think I had the 2600 model. I got the others through later thrift store and eBay bargains.

I think we got most of our games at Big Lots or something, a few years after the video game crash of '83. And unfortunately, we have a few crap titles like E.T. and the 2600 version of Pac-Man.

Doc

So do I...I have Atari 2600's Pac Man COMPLETE! The 5200 and 7800 versions are vast improvements. I love the sound when Pac Man dies, however.

JC

Heck, I've been thinking of getting rid of my Atari stuff for years now -- I don't play it anymore.

Go for it! There's a lot of cool titles for it.

My Dad bought my Mom a Nintendo NES when I was about 1 year old, so I've had a NES as long as I can remember.

My sister got a NES for Christmas when it came out, but she didn't play it that much, so she just let me keep it and play it in my room. I was about 3. Loved that NES. But I technically didn't own it, my sister did. The first system I ever owned was a Super Nintendo when I was 5 or so, Me and my bro bought it together.

You know Atari was semi-fun back then when your parents play with you. My mom and a friend of hers played Mrs. Pac-Man (7800 version) and Kangaroo with us.

Doc

My Mom liked videogames, my Dad really wasn't too much of a fan.

JC

Hmm...that's seems switched, since gaming always seems like a male thing. My dad was the one who used to whomp me at Tecmo Super Bowl. :)

I really only had lost of fun on Atari when I played with someone, there are some really fun 2 player games for the Atari.
