I'm sure he knows very well that his TV is not black and white. Many people on the forums indicated that he's simply using a Chinese Famiclone which outputs PAL instead of NTSC. He just says the TV is black and white because it's easier to deceive people, than to say "PAL video output" which would exclude a large portion of north American collectors.

Not to mention he stops communication with people who don't agree with him absolutely 100% of the time..or people who pay him.   So yeah, it's a bad thing.

isn't selling clones and pirated software not allowed on ebay to begine with? One time I was trying to sell my Saturn with a region adapter and someone ratted me out to ebay and got my listeing banned :-S

Pirates/Bootlegs/Clones aren't allowed but sometimes eBay doesn't check and some are kept.

To end the non-legitimate auctions it's easy, just report it.

The two have never posted from the same IP address.  It's possible megaman bought the clone from Kirayamato and is now trying to sell it (since PAL consoles aren't too useful in an NTSC area).  He may have simply copy/pasted the old description into the auction.
