That's actually very nice! I like it.  :yoshi:

Don't have mine yet, but FDS games ARE supported, and Krikzz is responsive to improving the implementation.

Label is very clean - I like it!  I think I'd have preferred it on black though.

I haven't tried out the FDS support yet but VRC7 didn't quite work unless I have a bad dump of Akumajou Densetsu.
It had the audio channels, they just didn't sound right at one point - that could just be my TV though.
I'll compare with a real cart in a couple days.  I'll test FDS games tonight.

You're right. Black looks pretty good, too:

(My plan was a maroon cart similar to the Famicom's color, with a white background label to match ... but maybe a faded yellow background would be better?  :P)

Faded yellow might look odd with Disk-Kun, but it was the first choice in my mind before black as you mention it.

I'm finishing up an Everdrive pulse line label :)

How is the FDS support?

Tested it earlier - works like a dream.  You just drop the FDS ROM in and load it up.  Automatically plays and switches sides.  Shame the loading screen didn't display for long though :)

Very simple design but not bad at all Tyler. :)

How about multi disk games?

L___E___T

What are some multi-disk games?  I'll try now.

Famicom Tantei Kurabu: Kieta Koukeisha and it's sequel Famicom Tantei Kurabu Part II: Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo are both on two disks each. The disks are marked 前編 (zenpen - former volume) and 後編 (kouhen - later volume).
Another example is Famicom Mukashi Banashi: Shin Onigashima that spans three two disks I think. Yuuyuuki and Time Twist also seems to span two disks each.

But I think it might be hard to just test this out since you usually need to complete the first disk and have it still in RAM before you can continue on the next disk.

L___E___T

I think it can be done, because it seems to save RAM or at least some data every time I turn it off and if you press reset it keep the disk image apparently.

Oops I checked out Shin Onigashima on internet and it's only 2 disks.

Sounds like the same as a real FDS. If you press reset in some FDS games you reset to the games title screen and don't need to load the game again. That is if the disk side with the title screen (side A) is already loaded. If that was what you meant?

It should be possible as long as the cart understands when it's time to switch to the "third disk side" (side A on disk 2). Powerpak apparently doesn't.

L___E___T

I'll have to try that - but I am not too fussed if it doesn't work.  I plan to get an FDS as well later down the line.
