My games from Manuel came today!

I don't recognize most of these, and most only have Japanese names  ???. But I've played a few of them so far and I'm definitely enjoying myself. Thanks Manuel, or should I thank Kai?  :D

Well, Kai did the choosing, and he insisted on putting 21 carts in the box instead of 20 (for a reason I don't know...). And he gave me some really weird explanations for his choices, too.
He also thought that King Kong was the same as Donkey Kong.  ;D (He loves to play Donkey Kong Returns on the Wii.)
I'm glad you got the package!

Pikkon

I see you got Majou Densetsu II: Daimashikyou Galious, that's one awesome game.

Ryo

6in1 with Contra Spirits SFC port. :D

Xious

How does it play, in contrast both to the real game, and to the FC 'Contra' release? :bomb:

Its actually fairly easy levels with insanely difficult boss fights. Also suffers from severe blinking pixels. oh and in the motorcycle level instead of riding a motorcycle, you ride a bunch of unfinished code. hahahaha. So overall, unless youre extremely curious, the SNES/SFC version is just fine.

That's odd, I remember it looking like a bike when I played it. :blinky:

BTW, that 6 in 1 cart looks pretty interesting; it seems to have been made by KaSheng if the crazy cartridge label is anything to go by. Then again, it still looks more authentic than most of their other carts. :D Also, if it's a port of Contra III then why did they call it "Sega 16 bit Contra" on the menu? Shouldn't it be "SNES 16 bit Contra" or something?
Life is too short to be little.

Very nice !
Also I think this cart was made by Hosenkan Electronics Co., LTD.

I dug a Sharp 14" TV/VCR combo out of my apartment complex garbage area today with a power cord that had been cut off at the base!  Opened it up and spliced an extension cord onto it with about 50 feet of electrical tape so I have something to play games on in the spare room.  Needed something for my original Famicom with the AV mod to do, since I always play with the toploader AV Fami on my good TV.  Assuming I don't burn the entire apartment down, I'll enjoy many spare-room games in the months to come!

I have always wanted to see one of those converted into a a clone Sharp Famicom TV!
Take out the VCR and install a Famicom or Famiclone as they contain tiny boards.

Nice job with the TV there, lobdale!  Hope the apartment doesnt  :fire:

My find of the week; Gimmick CIB!

It would be obscene to post how little I paid for it here.

Wow, you lucky bastard!  :star:

You should sell it on ebay and make one hell of a profit.
