Got my Av Famicom from senseiman a few days ago,man this thing is awesome.



And went to my local game store today and picked up some more games.

I love my AV Fami.  The picture is beautiful!  And using NES controllers on it is boss.  Nice choice on the Japanese version of what we'd eventually come to know as YO NOID.

Good luck with the worst-controlling version of Tetris ever made.

Pikkon - looking good;)  I agree with lobdale about that version of Tetris, but Goonies is a great game!

This came in my doorstep today, while I'm still having flu.  



The Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat games were thanks to Vash (from this forum). And the other one... through lurking on eBay.

Fresh from Japan!  "All Cassette" refers to "All Cassettes Released Prior to April 1990", but it's still an awesome book.  Not sure if there are newer editions that have more games.  If anyone has any information about it, I'd love to know more.

THAT is an awesome find Ugly Joe!  I`ve never seen that one, does it have photos of each game in it?

Interesting piece of trivia on the cover too - 619 Famicom carts were released thru 1990!

with the help of a friend, landed now this game at my house ..
so now I have both a pirate and an original
( but thats not all Gimmick-games i own  )

Forgot to post this,my friend has a super joy 3 and when he bought it years ago it came with this pirate cart with no label.
Since I have a fami he gave it to me,has some decent games on there for the most.

@Pikkon - What Country are you from? are you in the US (Or anywhere outside of Japan, Non-Asian country) and there happens to be a game store near you with a ton of famicom games? If thats the case, WOW, that rules!

Im in the Florida and yup the store I go to has a good amount of import games,they have fami,super fami,gameboy,psx and some saturn,some PS2 and one lonely mega cd game.The funny thing is Im like one of the only people who buys the import games there,most people have no idea what the hell these games are.

Next time I go there I will take a pic of there import section.
