Some Konami carts have holes. I don't know why. Might have something to do with opening the cart.

taking a shot in the dark - worse comes to worse it's a parts system but if I can fix it (which I've been known to do in my time for other systems...)

1000 yen? Used my discount I have through JGS to get a test disk - Shogi... which I hope to learn anyway so I'll pay $6 shipped for it... Here's hoping I luck out on it... :D
Just started the fami collection... want to finish a pulse line collection to start. :)

JC

Nice. Looks like you use SMJ, too? I tried it out for the first time recently. Now I see "cha" everywhere, which used to be "chaos" just a week ago. Yahoo! following eBay, I guess.

Good luck with that Disk System. I hate the FDS...I've got two and they never work for too long before something goes wrong. :P

keiffer01

Still got mine JC and it plays like a charm. ;) I really like the disk system, since you can buy some really great games and japan only games for almost dirt cheap prices on ebay. And most of them come in lots that end for only about 10 -20$ :P

I love my Twin Famicom, too. I play disks almost every day and haven't had a problem yet. The stand-alone disk systems seem like they'd be more prone to breaking. Shit, since I said that, my belt's probably gonna snap... :P

manuel

According to Murphy's law, yes, your belt will snap when you least expect it. ;D

I'm a tech, so I actually don't mind if it's not working... as long as it's fixable. Then perhaps I can practice and offer FDS fixing as a service :)

how my warped mind works :D
