Just found Wally Bear and the ''NO'' gang today for 3$ at a pawn shop. Well... it's maybe a rare game but I can see why it's rare; it was made by an unlicensed company and the game itself sucks ass. I can't even get passed level 3 for god sakes! Those f*cking birds and the those hard to see platforms are so annoying! And good thing they added a mute button! That music really hurts the ears! Anyway... it's probably gonna stay untouched in my stash of NES games for a while. I don't wanna dirty my precious NES again for a while :P

That game does suck ass. I like the "Press Here" button on the top of it. Guess the game says it best, "Say no. Stay smart. Don't start." I think they meant the game, not drugs  ;)

Anyone's welcome to kick my ass for this one. About 4 months ago I was at the local thrift store and I found the american version of the Sharp C1. It was a little beat up and only $15 bucks. I didn't know anything about it at the time and had much heavier things going on than thinking much about some weird NES in a t.v. at the thrift store. So I didn't buy it and only recently I found out what it was and that they are extremely scarce and it just kills me that I didn't grab it. At the time I thought it looked neat but I ride the bus and it seemed like a big hassle to pack home. I'm an idiot. Only $15 :'(

That sucks! That would have been an awesome purchase!  :-\

Hey that stuff happened to me before but I don't even want to mention it. Back then I didn't care much about collecting anything gaming related.....anyways, you'll get another chance.

Yesterday was just my lucky day! I went to my local pawn shop and decided to ask if they had any famicom games stored in their stuff somewhere. So he goes and looks, and then comes back with 5 games. I told him they were pirates, so he sold me the lot for only 10$. The games are:

-Super Mario Bros 2 lost levels with its own Micro Genius box (they seem pretty easy to find around my place...I think I have like 5 now)
-Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa (again)
-a Strip Poker/gambling game
-Bubble Bobble 2 rainbow islands
-Dragon Buster

I then went to a flee market, and found about 50 genesis games for only 20$! Really cool day :P

Nice deal on those Famicom games. Bio Miracle can sell for that much on it's own. I'd love to see a pic of the SMB2j with its box. I've never seen it boxed. You're quite lucky to be able to find these things.

Nice finds! You just can't find famicom carts that easily in the US.  :(

FamicomFreak

WOW more famicom finds in the US. Hmmm must be a sign to go and keep a eye out for them!

I think keiffer01 lives in Canada, not the US.

FamicomFreak

Oh man....still lucky find.

Haha yeah I'm in Canada ;D Seriously there seems to be lots of famicom and nes pirates carts around here. If your in canada and take the time to look at flee markets or just some random places there are lots of chances you might find something videogame related. Sometimes lots of things that they say on sites not from Canada that they say is pretty rare and hard to find can be really easy to find around here. It's pretty weird :P

FamicomFreak

can you sell me something please???

Well thegreatgonzo is already planning to buy the bio miracle cart, so i dunno. What would you want to buy?

Is the Strip Poker game a Super Pig game? If so, I may be interested in it.
