I just remembered I have a Pokemon Emerald pirate cart for GBA.. I'll post pics once I find it..

The shell is black instead of, well, emerald..
The game plays exactly the same except for incorrect grammar, :"cussing", and a save feature that occasionally corrupts..

After I beat a random Team Aqua member, instead of saying whatever he should of said..he said (in all caps): "GODAMMIT WHAT HELL HOW HAPPEN??"

Speaking of pirate Pokemon games, I LOL'd so hard at this awesome crystal hack..plays exactly like the original except for the hilariously, poorly translated english text

I think it's just poorly translated.

I remember when that was the only Crystal rom ever :P

FamicomFreak

Oh yeah when pokemon gold was going to come out we would all wait for the translation patches to be released. It was a lot of fun playing halfway translated patches. Then the 100 percent one came out but by that time the game was already released here in the US.

I always wondered about the different rating systems of the world..

Why do you have to be T to play a Metroid game nowadays, but only Cero 12 in Japan?

OH YEAH, 'cause I'm in America

Got Animal Crossing: City Folk this last weekend :)

City folk's pretty good, I just wish they'd let you use a classic or gamecube controller.

I actually like the new controls better, they're alot simpler; Point & Click where you want to go.

I wish you could control the whole game with just the nunchuck.

nintendodork

What do you mean the whole game?

You can walk around with the nunchuk...

Man, ratings systems cause me no end of trouble, I've just had to get 2 games rated by the ESRB and PEGI.  PEGI is a load of work, ESRB is even more ridiculous, they're like nazis now and rate the most stupid things teen, but enough of that.

Nice additions!!  I just bought a NES powerpak which should have got here by now, will post a review when (if) it arrives :(

Yeah, the whole game.  You can walk around, talk to people, pickup stuff, use tools (I think).  You can do a lot without really pointing and moving.  It's more relaxing that way.
