I thought the first Pokemons games were good and while the recent ones aren't bad, the problems is that they feed us the same old shit again and again.

Yeah your kind of right on that. I bought Pokemon Pearl recently and honestly I don't feel that excited to finish it. :-\

I can't wait to get the new pokemon because I haven't played a pokemon game in such a long time. Last one I played was gold/silver. I played fire red but that's just like playing the old one.

I have a question does the DS comes with a built in wireless adapter like the psp? I'm just wondering because I'm going to get a game for it and I wanted to know which is the best online one to get.

Ya just make sure you have a network to connect to. I had to go out and buy that Nintendo USB network connector since I didn't have wireless in my place.

I have question. I bought pokemon crystal, gold, silver, red, and  yellow but they are the japanese counter parts and I would like to know if I can trade my pokemon from those games to pokemon emerald and then to pokemon pearl since they wont let me trade from the other pokemon games. Well I hope anyone can help me out.

You absolutely CANNOT do this! The older versions of pokemon for the old gameboy are not compatible with any of the pokemon games from the gameboy advance and nintendo ds systems.

FamicomFreak

so how can you get the new pokemon in gold silver and crystal on new pokemon games? ?? like chikorita, cyndaquil etc

I didn't want to make my own thread for this, so I'll just bump THE OFFICIAL POCKET MONSTERS THREAD

Nintendo seems to like teasing people who pirate/emulate their games...we've found this out from games such as Earthbound on pirate carts :P

Here's one that's in Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen

Here's a link to Bulbapedia that mentions it.  It's the second to last bullet.

Alright, I'll bump this again, but this time for our little conversation about distribution carts/ rare Pokemon

Those GC demo discs are awesome.  I see them at a Gamestop near here every once in awhile.  And there is a distribution cart for Manaphy, it was for the TRU event.

The one I picked up was $1.99.

I'd actually love to have those Pokemon distribution carts, just so I could "legally" own rare Pokemon. And to dump them. :D

I own most of the American event Pokemon.  The Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disk that had Jirachi on it was being sold at K-Mart for $10! :D
I also have the Darkrai, Shaymin, and Regigigas that were distributed at the last two movies in Japan.

Question: Should I buy a boxed pkmn green for 10 dollars or Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Green and pokemon red for 25 dollars (All Jap)

nintendodork

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Blue is really rare, and Green is fun...and Red is the same as Green besides color...
Boxed Pokemon Green for $10 is an awesome deal, unless they're putting hidden costs in shipping.
