Was there any meaning to that post...?  Did you lose the auction, or something?

Well, I didnt lose, but for those 3 lose games i dont have enough money, but for the boxed pkmn green i have:(

Then get Pokemon Green boxed...it's a great game.  I personally like it more than R/B/Y.  My only complaint is that it's a little hard to navigate the items menu.  I tend to get a full bag pretty easily, and I have a hard time figuring out what I need to throw away to make room for important stuff.  It's good to know the TMs/HMs at least.  You can just get a list that tells all the TMs/HMs in R/B/Y, and their corresponding number.  So you can get rid of, sell, or teach the right 'mon the right moves.

Sorta.

When Pokemon was released in Japan, they had Red and Green.  Later, Blue was released, which had all 150 of the Pokemon available in the wild (I believe), changed some graphics around, and fixed some known bugs.

The US releases of Red and Blue are actually both modified versions of the Japanese Blue.

So, the US never saw Japan's Red or Green, only a modified version of Japan's Blue (split and released as Red and Blue).

Actually, there were still a few in Blue that weren't catchable, but not that many.  I don't have a list of them, but I know that all of them weren't available.

There are like...4 Pokemon threads, so I figured I'd just do a quick search and pull one up.

This is mostly aimed at any and all members in Japan, I guess.  I was recently playing Pokemon TCG on the GBC, and I battled this one guy named "Imakuni?".  I quickly remembered spending weekends frantically searching the web on this character and where I could get one of those cards.  After searching awhile with no clear results, I just decided that the card was made up only for the game and that it didn't exist.  But anyway, since I played this game again, I did another Google search and found a link to Bulbapedia that said the card was released in Japan in the September (or possibly August) 1997 issue of CoroCoro magazine.  Now here's my question; are there any shops that sell old issues of CoroCoro with the inserts still in them?  If so, I'd like to know if this claim on Bulbapedia is true, and if I can get myself a copy. ;D

Here's a picture of the card if it jogs anyone's memory.

Here's the link to the page I got this information from:

Bulbapedia doesn't seem to be working right now, so here's a cached Google version:

Japan also pays more for all that shit.  ::) North American game prices are ridiculously low, at least for Nintendo consoles.
