Remake Pokémon Gold/Silver

Pokémon was never at the top of my "Things that are awesome" list.  However, it's not at the bottom either.

Awesome.  I honestly didn't think they would reveal it this soon.  Too bad it'll be about a year before we even get wind of this

Like many who grew up with the Gameboy and saw the rise and fall of the GBC in the years between the Gameboy greyscale and Gameboy Advance, I was a huge Pokémaniac. Back in October of 2000, Gold and SIlver were the epitome of awesome. They advanced the series by so many leaps and bounds that its almost impossible to conceive that a series could grow so quickly.


As someone who adores Gold and Silver and have actually completed the unfinished ROM hack Shiny Gold for the GBA, I can easily say that I openly welcome the idea of G/S remakes. It'll be a total cashcow for Nintendo, but I will definetely be getting the Japanese version this fall and the English release whenever that comes out.

Here's hoping that Celebi will be obtainable in the English releases this time!
