I never understood the name "Son Son". Does it mean something in Japanese, or something?

It's another name for Goku, aka the Monkey King, the original inspiration for Dragon Ball.

Anyways, my favorite bad name for a game is Booby Kids, for obvious reasons. It makes sense for the concept of the game, but it still conjures up other mental images...

Namakubi is right.

His "full name" is Son Gokuu　（孫悟空） in Japanese, or Sun Wukong in Chinese.

son (孫)means "grandchild".
