It's strange that they both are Chinese and live in Canada, though. Maybe Kirayamato accessed FW through a proxy to mask his identity as Megaman.

Edit: The seller lists his location as Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the same as Kirayamato PM'd me to send his stuff. Maybe they live in the same city, but I highly doubt it.

UglyJoe

I don't think most proxy IP addresses point you to a major ISP, so I'm doubtful he's using a proxy.

Even still, Kirayamato hasn't been anywhere near as spammy as megaman.  I doubt he would have matured that much in such a short period of time.

FamicomRetroGamer

Is this guy really a bad person or uneducated which we should stay away from?

Kirayamato is Megaman!

The two have never posted from the same IP address.  It's possible megaman bought the clone from Kirayamato and is now trying to sell it (since PAL consoles aren't too useful in an NTSC area).  He may have simply copy/pasted the old description into the auction.

Except that Kira logged on here the same day it was posted on eBay, so it is him.
He could have moved to a different location which would explain the difference in IP.

UglyJoe

You were logged in the day it was posted to eBay as well.  How does that prove anything?

I'll admit there is evidence here, but it's nothing conclusive.

Remember, I am not the one whom first suggested they were the same person. But because of the suggestion, I did a bit of research myself.

Also he hadnt logged on prior to that day in many many months, why did he log on? To get the information the same for his eBay page. Same text and pictures.

Its to close not to be right.

Edit- ...and I knew it had been monthes because ericj posted a feedback that Kirayamoto had ripped him off. Well, I was like "hmmm... I didnt know he was still active, so I checked and it said he hadnt logged on since like January or something like that." and now he has a new log on.

I only care because back in the day, Megaman ripped me off.

Since they both share megaman9477 as Megaman's Hotmail email address and Kirayamato's photobucket account (http://i299.photobucket.com/albums/mm297/megaman9477) they have gotta be the same person. Who else is gonna choose "9477"?

Besides, who would need to use a proxy or change ISPs? Perhaps someone whose IP address was banned. Makes sense.

The special free game Kirayamoto said he was giving me is called "Metroid Zero Mission 2." I bet it's the same "freebie" Megaman gave to the "yongest" members here.

Nightstar699

Yup, when I got a package from Kira, the freebie was Metroid on a floppy disk.

Okay, if Kirayamato is using megaman's email address for one of his other accounts, then I'd believe it.  That's all I was asking for, really, was something more concrete.

Kirayamato isn't using a proxy, it's just a different IP from anything that megaman used.  We only ever issued a temp-ban to megaman which has long-since expired.  There's no need for him to use a proxy.

FamicomRetroGamer

He's a no good user neither seller.

Not trustable and so he shouldn't be able to make sells.

As stated before he's 15 years old (right?) at this age teens still don't take sales seriously, and actually play with the situation.

Nightstar699

Yeah, he told me he was 15. But I am 15 and I have made plenty of successful sales. Just because you're yong doesnt mean you're too stupid to send stuff in the mail.

Night, what the hell is your problem? Why are you insulting me? I'm not 15 years old, I'm older than you, have some respect!

And I wasn't talking about myself but "Mega Man" who has made bad communication and ripped people.

Some teenagers can actually behave themselves, others just like to jack off.

ericj

FamicomRetroGamer -- he was talking about megaman/Kira, not you.  :-*

Nightstar699

Yup, I didn't mean any offense by it. :P I was just trying to say that not all younger people are bad dealing with.
