Nice thread. I will throw in a few tidbits..

*I have been legally hearing impaired since I was born, wearing hearing aids all my life, attending public schools and speech therapists until my last four years where they unceremoniously dumped me at a exclusively deaf school. Had to immediately learn sign language as a result

*Married a woman I initially hated for years and borderline "dated" my brother (big no-no)

*Earned a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do (originally Kyuki-do before  losing accredition)

*Worked for the same facilty for 18 years since age 14, eventually becoming a CNA for long term health care (nursing homes aren't what they are used to be these days)

It's curly, so about halfway down my back. A couple of my friends straightened it once and it was past my waist.

Btw what are you into, metal wise? Personally I love old school thrash, death, and black metal. I also have a soft spot for doom, prog, and power metal. I like most of the genre I guess.

Me? I'm into old school heavy, power and death metal. Not so much on thrash or black metal, though some of my friends do.
I don't like how some people are too narrow-minded, and just because they don't listen to <insert subgenre here>, it must suck.

About two weeks ago my glasses snapped in half and I've been without 'em since then. It sucks big time to say the least.

Thought of something new again:

I absolutely hate spiders. They give me the creeps.
The last day I found one again, a pretty big one to make things worse. With an egg-bag! 
I think I used a whole can of insect spray on that one.  It didn't die, but became much slower, so I could smack it with a shoe.
I would also say I'm afraid of spiders, but only when they're over an inch big. Still I love to take photos of them. Why could that be?

Oh wow  .  I would have screamed like a little girl and ran away.  There's no way I would have gone back to kill it without some kind of bug spray and a knife.

Thing is I can't go away without killing it, because otherwise I fear it will go hiding somewhere in my house where I can't see it any more. Pure horror! Imagine all those baby spider in that bag grow to be as big as the mother... I'd drop dead...
Maybe I need to open an own thread for arachnophobics like me.

I had a full spider nest in my Jeep. It took me a month to find it and kill all the fuckers.
