I played it earlier, great game.  Then I played more JuJu, then I played Gun Dec.  Loving these.

Ah, do tell, how far have you gotten on Gun Dec? I've beaten that game a few times since I got it and I absolutely adore it... the final boss seems near-impossible at first, but there is a trick to fighting him.

Edit: Not Famicom, but Power Blade on my NES is the last game I played!

I got up to the secnd boss, died and then powered off.  Not really trying, just had a quick blast through while I was waiting for something and died before I knew it.  Boss 1 is such a walk n the park that I didn'mt see how quickly my life bar went down.  I didn't get hit even up til then :)

So not very far yet, but it seems relatively easy so far.  I'll let you now when I have a proper sit down with it.  I tend to play Famicom games for 5 mins and then move on to another game, it's bit of a bad habit.

Ahh, I hope you spend more time on it in the near future, I'd love to hear your experiences with the later stages.

I'd consider Gun Dec to be somewhat similar to Ninja Gaiden in a couple ways... the most prominent of which is the fact that the game is extremely easy... up until the final stage, which is actually pretty damn hard. I remember before I played Ninja Gaiden, I had heard the difficulty of it hyped up to such great extreme, so when I got a copy of it I was surprised to just easily breeze past level after level, until the difficulty really hit me on the final stage... then I seriously had to take some time and learn the game inside and out. Gun-Dec is kinda the same way, but... I'd still say it's easier than Ninja Gaiden overall.

Your knack for action games is probably what made Ninja Gaiden easy Nightstar. First time I played it long ago I had trouble long before the last stage. But the difficulty really increases greatly on the last stage.

Last Famicom game I played: Wrecking Crew

I guess I'm not half bad at action games. On the other hand I could never even imagine beating an RPG, so anyone who has finished one of those has already 1-upped me in that category.

Games I beat this evening...

Power Blade (On NES)
G.I. Joe: Real American Hero (On NES)
Gun-Dec

Although I had to rely on continuing via the password system, which makes me feel a bit ashamed, I can proudly say I beat Ningen Heiki: Dead Fox at last, something I thought I'd never be able to say.

Edit: Never mind, just got done beating it again, and this time I didn't need to use any continues at all. Life is good.

Nah, the time I beat it without continues it was on normal. However, I did beat it on difficult yesterday, I needed a few continues though. I didn't know that, but I'll give it a try next time I play it, which will be today!
