Finally managed to finish the game over the long weekend but uh... after that it looks like it'll be several weeks before I can make my way through Title Defense mode thanks to the sheer difficulty.

I've got a nice, fat spoiler for anyone who wants it.  I'm sure some of you have already heard about it, the last fighter in the game.

For the record, I beat Great Tiger last night in Title Defense Mode.

Thanks, I always loved it when Doc said that in MTPO, because I'd be expecting some kind of encouragement, but all I got was an ad.   My least favorite is, indeed Super-Punch-Out.  Mac doesn't even look like Mac, and the controls are weird for me.  So I guess there would be less people who have played Super Punch Out then those who haven't played MTPO/Wii Punch-Out

I'd like to think that SPO is more of a sleeper hit then Punch Out for the NES. As the controls are more like the arcade games (which I have played before. They are really fun!) so I can see why you wouldnt like it as it's really not the same game. I actually like all the punch out games

I also had a chance to play Punch Out at my nephews. It was okay, I really think they should have at least tried adding some new characters into the mix. Having only the secret boxer and Disco Kid. It advertised new boxers and to only have 2 new ones is really disappointing.

Other then that, it was fun. Will pick it up when I get my Wii tomorrow :B

Disco Kid feels like he should have been in MTPO, his strategy was pretty funny.
