Recovered a partially eaten cassette tape from an old cassette player.  No damage done!

Bashed my face into some Linden Script Language and sitting here angrily waiting on someone to come online so I can have said person lock said scripting so it's unmodifiable/unreadable by people.
I don't know how to fox. D:

Made an appointment for my legally required car inspection. I also need new tires (or soon I'll drive on slicks...).

Including taxes, insurance and fees that's about 950$.  :'(
I'd rather spend that on a nice vacation at some hot springs...  ;D

I just downloaded Chrono Trigger on VC.  I've never played it, so I figure it might be fun.  Hopefully, I finish it.  I have a tendency to start RPG's and not finish them.  The only ones I've played all the way through are Zelda 1, Dragon Warrior 1, and Final Fantasies 7 and 13.  I've started and stopped probably a dozen or more over the years   :-[

Checked my Rockman 6in1 proto for mistakes, haven't found any and was left depresed because it 's not working.

Just opened the boxes that all of my computer stuff came in.  So excited to build it! :D

Have you ever put heat paste on a processor before?  If not, I highly recommend watching a Youtube video on it before proceeding.  It's not complicated, but a little goes a long way and it pays to do it right the first time (says the guy who had to clean a processor with a toothbrush once).

nintendodork

I haven't, but my cousin is coming over to help me build it, and he's built computers a lot more recently than I have, so he'll able to assist me quite a lot.

The last three processors that I installed with the stock heat sink didn't require me to apply any thermal paste manually.  There was already a dab of it on the bottom of the heat sink and I guess it takes hold once the processor warms up for the first time.

I have watched a big test for paste applying and the winner was one small pea-size drop in the middle of the processor which spreads evenly by itself when pressed down by a heatsink. Anyway Arctic cooling MX II thermal paste is higly recommended (and cheap !!!), I bought that thing a year ago (4g) and re-pasted a bunch of processors with it, still have something in the tube. So far it's holding temperatures marvelously.

Hehe, I've used that stuff for the last 3 computers I built.  It's great!

Just finished building my computer + installing most of my software!

Woo!  ;D

Edit* It's so weird, with my new monitor, I can see all of the boards on the forum homepage without having to scroll down! :o
