Every single day I'll look at my watch to see the time, and a lot of the time it will be somwthing like 11:11, or 3:33, 10:10, 2:22 and so on.

alao i have an internal alarm that wakes me up around 7:am. It is very annoying when you also wake up 5-10 times a night as it is. I cant even sleep in on weekends.  :(

When I lock my car (yeah, I somehow managed to get a driving licence), I often check to make sure it's locked.

I've been dealing with bouts of depression on and off. (but i've since gotten help for it.)

Last year took my aunt, my great uncle and my cousin from this big beautiful world and took them to a better place where I know they aren't suffering anymore. Thankfully, I'm not super depressed anymore but I like to think about my aunt a lot since she was basically my second mother. I miss her every day.

However, the end of year seemed to pick up since I was able to buy the house I grew up in and now have a nice gaming set up as well as living with my best buddy and my little brother.

I also am glad I still have this forum. It's been a blast being here for this long and it's always fun to see the new and old faces who love the Famicom as much as I do.

Thanks for being here, guys.  ;D

I just went 2 days without drugs or alcohol. I know it doesn't seem like much but I am VERY impressed with myself. If there's anything narcotics anonymous taught me,  it's to take things day by day.

For anybody who hasn't been intoxicated, I recommend that you stay away. it really is hard to stop taking drugs and alcohol once youve been doing it a while. (11 years for me. For the last 6 or so years it's been an almost daily thing for me.)

Right now my 2 main crutches are pot and alcohol. I've quit pretty crazy habits in the past though.

I used to smoke weed a lot but one thing that really helps in cutting down is maintaining structure within your life. It's a lot easier to get your mind off of things like that when it's being occupied with other things like work or hobbies. It also helps if you don't buy it yourself and only smoke when you're with friends who do. I've never been a huge fan of alcohol, but do drink occasionally on the weekends (college parties and such). I used to think about weed a lot and smoke every other day a couple summers ago but school and other relationships tend to get my mind off of it pretty fast and thoughts like that aren't always floating around in my head anymore. It's very nice to not be so preoccupied with it all the time.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on - www.instagram.com/tylerisneat

Sounds like it was a phase to be honest - I've seen it destroy people's motivation and I personally can't stand to see it, so glad you moved on :)

Sounds great bro, keep up the good work!  Right now I am on vacation with my family, so that has steadily cut down my drinking habit to one or two beers a day, max, so no drunken nights or anything crazy.

For me, I just love the taste of beer, and love to home brew stuff too.  Set the end of last year though, I felt that things were getting a bit out of hand, and I think some probs with my gf and other life issues just made it worse.  For the next 3 months, my brother will be coming to stay with me, so any alcohol use will definitely make if back to more reasonable doses, much more moderation, which is key to this sort of thing.

I went 4 days sober. Neat feeling, minus withdrawl lol. My doctor put me on Lorazepam to help me sleep at night.

Sounds good!

Personally I like to have a few beers with good company but I never drink alone. But I had relatives that was literary killed by alcohol. I would never touch drugs though. It's not really generally accepted in Sweden which is a good thing.

I wish you luck and keep at it!
