My package came. I am just playing around with it a bit. I'll try writing up a review tonight or tomorrow.  So far, I am pretty impressed.

Oh and the pokemon bootleg I got is in fact in english. It doesnt hold a save though. Figured as much. Ah well. I have a soft spot for pokemon bootlegs.

wholesalewatch648

cool. do you know if the battery in the bootleg pokemon game is CR2032 just like in RBY and GSC? or is cassette not able to be opened? and is it bootleg of the RBY series ?
I am a big Nintendo fan! especially GameBoy, N64, SFC, GC. And of course Mario games
I collect SFC/N64 mainly. Some rare famicom stuff too. Also miscellaneous video game stuff.

It's a Pokemon Red bootleg. The battery appears to be a standard battery. The game is closed with a phillips screw so ill investigate further when I get back home.

I keep trying to write a mini review but I keep getting errors of pictures too big so I make them smaller and then get errors the photo upload folder is full. What's a good place for uploading pictures?

Just hurry up and post a picture!  I've been dying to see this thing   :bub:

I find TinyPic images expire rather quickly - so I use Photobucket.  Imgur probably is the best all round though IMO.

Nobody imageshack.us? It keeps pictures I uploaded years ago.

I have found that also gives problems.  You obviously keep it updated, but most broken image links I see either feature a frog, or the Tinypic logo so I stay away from them myself.

You only need to choose one though, hurry up and choose already dangit!   :-[

The screen is amazing. it is slightly widescreen, but I honestly cant tell really. It doesn't really look squished at all. The buttons are raised quite a bit more than a GBC. The dpad works well. The console is slightly bigger in every regard in terms of dimensions.  It seems to fit in my hand very nicely. It seems to run at normal speed.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

P

How about sound, compared to a GBC?

The sound is good. And way louder than a GBC. The pitch of sound is also very close to the GBC.
