I've been lurking for a while and finally decided to join. I only started collecting Famicom recently.. I have a Sharp Twin Famicom Disk System, about 60+ loose carts, 4 disks, and 100+ Super Fami carts (which I play on a SNES I popped the tabs out of- someday I will have a real Super Fami system<3- but for now it works just fine). I have been finding carts and such on Ebay, thru craigslist, and on the Nintendo Age forum (just a few)...  I am hoping to keep expanding my collection as money allows... it is so addicting!    I guess that is it?

Only recently started collecting? It sounds like your collection is coming along extremely nicely. SFC's are sweet. I hope you get yours eventually! Anyways have a great stay!

I just started last summer, and I am hooked. There is so much the famicom has to offer that the NES couldn't. Just wait till you see some of the great exclusive games and bootlegs the famicom has! :O

Hey folks.

I was guided here to the Introduce Yourself forum by 133MHz, so here I am.
I have been a longtime collector of all sorts of console video games and systems. I discovered and purchased a console called the Retro Duo and was pleasantly suprised that I could play SFC games. I started combing ebay for SFC titles, and discovered the joy of import games. I decided to buy some of the highest reccommened titles (N64's Sin and Punishment, Bangioh, SFC'sRendering Ranger, Pop'n Twinbee, Flying Hero, etc.) Then I discovered all the awesome catalog of Famicom games. I think I have a little over twenty Famicom games so far. Some of my nicest fbuys are Holy Diver, Crisis Force, Splatterhouse, Kid Dracula, Joy Mecha Fight... picked up a few multicarts along the way, also.

I am also the proud dada of an almost-three year old girl and 7 month old boy. In a way, all the games I am collecting will be something I can share and enjoy with them as they grow up.
