Welcome to the site/forum. ;D

Great place to talk about the Famicom, whenever I get any Famicom/FDS question, this is the first place I come.

This is the official stickied thread for introducing yourself.

I'm Jerah, been playing Famicom for only few months, but love the NES. I'm an administrator here (thanks to JL) and I've been making all the changes you see here and on Famicom World.

My Trade/Want List

Doc

I'm Josh, the webmaster of Famicom World. I've been a Famicom gameplayer since December 2004, when my friend gave me Super Mario Bros. 3 for the Famicom for Christmas. I also got a pirated Famicom that day, so I played it. :) I'm a big fan of video games and game shows.

KennyB

Hey my name is Kenny , i'm 21 years old and i'm from Belgium.  Sadly there aren't much famicom games in belgium so i have to pick them up cheap from ebay. Wich explains why i only have like 4 games  ;D I don't have a famicom but i've got a clone. I mostly collect for the NES and other main stream consoles like super nintendo and master sytem...... My other hobbies are playing soccer and foosball. I still go to school and i have a girlfriend for about 3 years and a couple of months ( i've lost the count  ;D) If there's anything else you guys want to know , just ask  8)

manuel

Hi! I found this site and forums through the guys of nesforums.com.
My name's Manuel, I'm 27 years old, from Germany and I love old games, especially Famicom and stuff.
I'm still a student in Munich University. My major is Japanese Studies, my two minors are Chinese Studies and Theoretical Linguistics.
And yeah, I can speak and read Japanese. :) That's why I even enjoy Japanese RPGs (@JC ;))
Looking forward to some good conversations with you guys.

Tutor?
I could answer short questions if you have. ;)
I don't have too much time recently, though. Busy with university. :-\

Doc

Yeah, that sucks...I'm learning Japanese next summer myself. I bought a "Japanese for dummies" book, an I'm going to do a few pages a day or so.

Toneman

I'm Antione Rosario (as in Rosario Dawson), from the USA in the state of Virginia. I'm into retro import systems such as the Famicom, Super Famicom, PC Engine and the Sega Saturn that died too early due to Western Anti-2D propaganda. I'm kinda blindly learning Japanese on my own a bit. I can read katakana and that's it.

Hey everybody, I'm Bryan. I'm 16 and have been collecting classic games for a year now (NES, SNES, Genesis, etc...) my favourite being the NES. As fate would have it, I have dipped my foot in the Famicom world by having a 31-in-1 multicart and Rockman 4 (played on NES via converter and Game Genie )for a while now and now looking to purchase a Famicom to extend my sights.

JC

Awesome, man. You'll love the Famicom. Welcome, and I hope you stick around.
