The episode was meh, but the special was nice.

I agree.  I didn't think the episode was that great, but the special was cool.  I just wish they would show (or release) the Tracy Ullman shorts on TV or on a DVD.  He knows that any long-time fan of the show would buy it in a heartbeat.

Replaced the display flex cable on my cell phone. The camera suddenly started to refresh very slowly, then the entire phone started acting sluggish, so I thought it was a software problem but no amount of factory reset was able to fix it, I was quite perplexed about the cause of the slowness, until the display turned into this:



Now that the hardware failure was pretty damn obvious, I bought a replacement flex cable for like $8 (yay for cheap Chinese knockoffs!) and after swapping the cables it's good as new!

I had to put my cat I've had since 1998 down today. It's a real shame too because it was nice to have a fluffy companion to cuddle with.  Life comes and goes so quickly it seems...

It's kinda hard to describe it.  I thought the more artsy displays were amazing.  The exploded model was probably my favorite.

I'm messing around with my new phone.  The LG Tritan.  So far, I like it a lot more than my new phone I've had for 2+ years because of the better camera, internet access, better speaker, and the new GUI.  We switched companies because of my mom's work contract thing, and so far these guys are better as far as service goes.  I think my old phone is still receiving some of my text messages instead of this new one, though.
