I was playing Rockman 2 a few months ago and was halfway through Metal Man when my Famicom shut off and never turned back on .

Now I have to look for a new cheap one....

I played a but of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' today, but I did so on a Pockefami, and hit the reset button instead of 'B', thus resetting the game, twice and finally gave up.

On the other hand, I played 'Bible Black' (Windows) through to the best Evil Ending ('Evil Never Dies') yesterday. Let all those who dislike Hentai visual novels barf now if you so choose...

I just played Dragon Warrior 2. I also just receieved my Powerpack from retro zone. Now I can try out SMB 2 JAP on an NTSC Nes. I know it will be lacking in some sound, but not enough to hinder game play. If I remember correctly the music is only messed up at the ending when using the powerpack. However; it does not compare to actually playing the game on my twin famicom though.

Emulating an FDS title never quite feels the same, special music or no; and you're right, it's only the end-music that uses FDS-audio. You should wire-up the PowerPak sound mod on your system.

Just recently got a brand new copy of Super Mario 2 and Metroid for my disk system.  Felt kind of bad to open them but what the hell.  Been speed running through mario 2 and did a full run through yesterday died on 9-3 of the extra set of stages.  Gota beat the game a couple of more times to unlock the a-D stages

I know right. I just got three lame sports titles for real cheap just to test out my FDS... I get them in the mail and there mint and sealed. Its great but I can't open them. IDK zelda FDS new for $36 or 38 or incomplete with just the card and disk for 20 - 25. Its worth it to pay the extra to have it complete and new but then I know i'll never open it so what's the point.

If they're just sports titles, they aren't worth anything anyway. I say rip 'em open and make history by being the first person to play them!

CaH4e3 posted a new dump a few days ago. The Keyboard Transformer rom is interesting because you can use your PC's keyboard with it.
