Bought Umihara Kawase boxed for 5000 yen from Yahoo auctions. It usually goes for 7-8000 in stores

Wife got me this Namco collection vinyl for our anniversary. It's clear with color splashes and looks pretty cool in motion. Also the Splatterhouse ending music is great.

Very nice UglyJoe!  I don't have any vinyl, but that is something I am probably going to get into next, and what better than some classic video game tunes?   ;D
Family Bits - Check Progress Below!

He is going to hook it up to his old PSX and play Vib Ribbon to that tunes all the day! That's exactly what he will do  ;)

Yoooo is that an SL-1200?

Got this little gem from my local dealer. He had anouther but times are tough and I could only pick up this one for now. Has the "Pockemon" platformers from some of the Korean famicom pirate carts

My #SuperSmashBros Melee Japanese store kiosk demo came scratch free. There are 2 commercials For Melee, Pikmin and demos for both games. A Gamecube promo video as well. Feels so weird playing this in 2018. I remember getting Smash the first day at #Blockbuster for the holidays.

No new videos yet, possibly tomorrow. I also got a ton of FDS disks but I haven't finished sorting them out yet.

Cool. I wonder what the balance changes are between that and the Japanese retail version of Smash.
I like to glitch old VHS tapes and turn them into visuals for live music events. Check out what I'm working on -

I'm no sure. It may be based of 1.0's engine or possibly an earlier build. I did find this page which give more information and a marginal examination of all known releases of Super Smash Bros. Melee.:

I still need a few more versions to complete my collection but I have the extremely rare versions including a few demos already.

*surf music plays* oh man I forget how long it was since we owned this game. Also finally Alien Syndrome! Time to immerse into fun. Hope I don't crash and burn!

And yesterday, from the Retro Gaming Convention I went to (I have some videos as well) I picked up NES Qix for 15, Klax for 5 and Cool Boarders 2 for 3.

Wow, FuncoLand dust jacket.  That takes me back ;D

I saw a yellow Funcoland box and inside was Qix, a game I really wanted for some time. Finally got it for 15! :D

I got as much as I could at Surugaya and Ojamakan in Kyoto, especially Surugaya had lots of good games. A few finds at Nara Hard Off but their game section is small and prices slightly above Kyoto.

Anyway, Akihabara has the tourist prices I expected, but Trader Hq had good prices on some games. I can recommend any Surugaya outside of Akihabara, the one in Shinjuku had a good stock and almost Kyoto prices.
