Higemaru Makaijima, what a great hidden Capcom gem!

Switchstance

I had a small Balloon Fight competition this morning with my little niece :) We had a lot of fun.

Switchstance, is that really you? :o

This place hasn't been the same with out you. I've dying to ask, how is 'switchstance' pronounced? Is it like 'instance' ?

Switchstance

Exactly like "instance".  :bomb: I am back yeah! I have been in and on for quite some time, but finally I have some time to spare and play many famicom games :D

Zero107

Spent about 15 minutes playing a translation of Fire Emblem on the Everdrive. That soundtrack...
I'll probably die surrounded by plastic crap.

Nightstar699

Beat a few Famicom games today, one of which was the "Super Mario and Sonik 2" hack of Chip N Dale 2. Which is odd, because the Bootleg Games Wiki article on it claimed that this game locks up after the first level... huh. I guess my copy is made of pixie dust.

Zero107

Played a few boards on Wily and Light No Rockboard, since my friend is over for a sleepover  ::)
I knew she would pick Roll.

Kirby

Well, actually my son played it. And he beat the first boss (the tree) on the first try without taking damage. WTF?  :o

Nightstar699

What ability did he have when he fought Whispy Woods? Or was he just normal Kirby? Either way that's impressive for a youngster's first try.

The last NES/Famicom  game I emulated was  :mario:Somari.
It is so  hard... >:(  Dying in the  first  level  a lot! Stuck in  the next! I  think  I  will  play  SMB3 :mario: :star:  :yoshi:

Nightstar699

I request you take a stab at the title screen for Kiwi Kraze.

I played and beat a few Famicom games today:

Don Doko Don 2 (Twice, I wasn't satisfied with my mediocre performance on my first run)
Mitsume Ga Tooru
Samurai Pizza Cats

I think I'll play Rockin' Kats (on NES) next.

Nice, I played a translation of SPC that "Is supposed to be just like the American cartoon." It was interesting seeing the names Speedy and Guido on the Famicom. I've been playing through Jesus: Dreadful Bio-Monster in my spare time today. All I can say, the main character's girlfriend is a babe.

That does sound pretty cool, as I was a fan of the English dub growing up, but in more recent years I saw watched the original series with subtitles, and I loved it. Needless to say, the SPC game is one of the best, and my copy of it is definitely among my most prized possessions.
